Just-in-Time SLA: Phase 3

For those who are planning to serve more than a year or two, our Just-in-Time SLA course begins with a three-week course (Phase 1), followed by a few months of individual Skype coaching while engaged in on-field learning (Phase 2), and finally an additional three-week course customized to meet each learner's needs as a continuing learner (Phase 3). This five-week course equips language coaches with a basic understanding of the processes involved in learning the listening and speaking skills, offers practical guidance for helping learners gain proficiency in listening comprehension, conversation, and speaking to groups, and presents a wide range of learning activities that are most useful at each proficiency level, including advanced.
